HostingWalay takes abuse reports seriously and investigates every valid submission. To help us act quickly and fairly, please follow the specific guidelines below for the type of report you wish to submit. The Complaining Party is the User or interested third party submitting the report.
Critical reports (CSAM, active DDoS) — immediate investigation. High-severity (phishing, fraud, malware) — within 24 hours. Medium (spam, copyright, resource abuse) — 24–72 hours. Low priority — up to 5 business days.
1 General Guidelines
Reports are accepted only for illegal activities or violations of the Acceptable Use Policy.
Reports must be written in the Primary Language (English) or Secondary Language (Urdu). Reports in other languages may be rejected.
The complainant must have legal grounds to file the report — be the affected party, the copyright owner, an authorized representative, or a legal firm acting on behalf of the affected party.
The report must be submitted by:
- The complainant personally
- A licensed lawyer or attorney
- A legal firm with proof of representation
Every report must include valid contact information (email address and phone number) so that the Provider can follow up if additional evidence is required.
Reports may be submitted via:
- Email to abuse@hostingwalay.pk
- The support ticket system (Client Area → Support → Submit Ticket → Category: Abuse)
- The quick form at the bottom of this page
2 Copyright Violation Report
The Provider acts as a mediator between the copyright holder and the User. We do not act as judge of copyright disputes — we evaluate the validity of the complaint and the User's response, then act in accordance with applicable law.
Report must include:
- Reasoning — a clear explanation of why the content is being reported as infringement
- Direct links (full URLs) to the copyrighted material hosted on HostingWalay infrastructure
- Proof of ownership — copyright certificate, original work files with timestamps, registration documents, or other reasonable evidence that the complainant owns the rights
- A signed statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder
3 Phishing Report
Email Phishing
For phishing email reports, the complainant must provide:
- The full email text including all headers (Received, Return-Path, DKIM, SPF results)
- The timestamp when the email was received
- A brief explanation of what makes the email phishing (impersonated brand, fake login link, etc.)
Website Phishing
For website phishing reports, the complainant must provide:
- The full URL path of the phishing page (not just the domain)
- A screenshot of the phishing page (mandatory) showing impersonation
- The timestamp of when the screenshot was taken
- The legitimate brand or service being impersonated
4 SPAM Report
For SPAM reports, the complainant must provide:
- A complete copy of the email including full headers
- The exact timestamp when the spam email was received
- An explanation of why the email qualifies as spam (e.g., no prior consent, no unsubscribe option, deceptive content)
- Screenshots are optional but helpful (especially for advanced spam techniques)
5 Network Abuse Report
For network abuse (flooding, spoofing, port scanning, brute force attacks, etc.), the complainant must provide:
- Log excerpts showing the source IP (which must belong to HostingWalay) and the abuse pattern
- Exact incident timing — start time, peak time, duration, with timezone (PKT preferred)
- Brief description of the abuse type (SYN flood, port scan, SSH brute force, etc.)
- Optional: PCAP files or extended logs if available
6 Defamation and Libel Report
The Provider will not determine the veracity of disputed content.
The Provider will not judge or censor user-generated content based on defamation claims that are not backed by a court order.
The complainant should first contact the content creator (the website owner) directly to resolve the dispute. Their contact information is typically available via WHOIS or the website's "Contact" page.
If the dispute escalates, the complainant may obtain a court order from a Pakistani court (or court of competent jurisdiction). Upon receipt of a valid court order, HostingWalay will comply with the directive.
7 Child Pornography (CSAM) Report
HostingWalay maintains absolute zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material. Reports are investigated immediately and offenders are reported to the FIA Cyber Crime Wing and applicable international authorities.
For CSAM reports, the complainant must provide:
- The exact URL of the offending material (do NOT include screenshots of the content itself for legal reasons)
- Any additional identifying information about the source (account, IP, etc.) — appreciated but not mandatory
- The complainant's contact information for follow-up
Reports may be submitted anonymously via email to abuse@hostingwalay.pk with subject line "CSAM REPORT — URGENT" if the complainant wishes to remain unidentified.
Confirmed offenders are reported to FIA Cyber Crime Wing, National Centre for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and any other applicable authorities, with full preservation of evidence.
8 Credit Card Fraud Report
For credit card fraud reports (unauthorized charges on a card used at HostingWalay), the complainant must provide:
- Cardholder name as it appears on the card
- First 4 digits and last 4 digits of the card number (do NOT send full card number)
- Card type (Visa / Mastercard / UnionPay / American Express)
- Expiration date (MM / YY)
- The exact time and amount of each unauthorized charge
- Optional: a screenshot of the disputed transaction from your bank or card statement
If you suspect your card has been compromised, please contact your bank immediately to block the card. Then submit a fraud report to us so we can investigate the account that received the unauthorized payment and assist with chargeback documentation.
