Rebuild on destination

It is free with any annual HostingWalay hosting plan, with no setup fee and no per-file charge. As a standalone job (you do not need to buy hosting from us), the Standard tier is Rs 2,499 per site. The White Label tier for agencies and resellers is Rs 5,999 per site, with an anonymous handoff, branded reports and an NDA on request. For comparison, GoDaddy charges $99.99 (around Rs 28,000) for a managed website migration.

Which platforms are supported?

Almost any web platform: WordPress, Laravel, custom PHP apps, Magento, OpenCart, WooCommerce, Joomla, Drupal, static HTML and CSS sites, and Node.js apps, all under the same Standard fee. Hosted site builders (Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, Canva, Google Sites, Blogger) need a rebuild rather than a migration and are quoted separately. For unusual stacks (Statamic, Strapi, Ghost, Astro), send the site URL on WhatsApp and we will confirm the scope before billing.

How long does the migration take?

Under 24 hours for standard sites and under 48 hours for Magento, multi-site or large eCommerce. Small WordPress sites under 5 GB usually finish in 12 to 24 hours; large Magento stores or complex Laravel apps can take 24 to 48 hours. Your Karachi engineer sends WhatsApp updates as each step completes. Faster turnaround is possible if you tell us in advance.

How is zero perceived downtime achieved?

We do not claim absolute zero downtime; we claim your visitors will not notice. The source site stays live throughout. A day before cutover we lower the DNS TTL to 300 seconds. Once you sign off on the preview URL, we run a final sync (write freeze usually under 5 minutes), switch DNS, and both old and new servers serve during propagation. MX records are sequenced so email keeps flowing.

Can the destination be a host other than HostingWalay?

Yes. The destination can be HostingWalay or any major hosting provider or cloud platform worldwide: shared, VPS, dedicated or cloud. You give us source and destination access and we handle everything in between. Free migration with annual hosting applies only when the destination is HostingWalay; moves to another host are charged at the Standard or White Label rate.

What do I need to provide to start?

Source hosting access: a cPanel login, FTP or SFTP details, or SSH access, plus database access if it is stored separately. If the destination is not HostingWalay, destination access too. That takes about 10 minutes of your time; everything after that is on us, with WhatsApp updates. For White Label jobs you also sign the NDA and send your brand assets (logo, signature block, sender domain).

Are mailboxes migrated too?

Yes. If you have cPanel email accounts, the mailboxes move with the website under the same Standard fee, including full message history, aliases, forwarders and autoresponders. If your email runs on Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or Zoho Mail, those mailboxes stay where they are and only the DNS records are carried over, with MX records sequenced so mail keeps flowing.

What if something breaks during migration?

The source site is never modified. We work from a snapshot, rebuild on the destination and test on a preview URL before any DNS change. If the preview shows a problem, the cutover waits until it is fixed. After the switch, rolling back means reverting one DNS record. The migration is billed only once the cutover is complete. The 14 day money back guarantee applies to the bundled hosting plan; the migration itself is delivered work and is not refundable separately.
